HP has added a new touch screen to their line up featuring optical touch technology for single and 2-point multi-touch (Windows 7 for multi-touch capability) at a low cost. The L2105TM 21.5" LCD touch screen offers built-in speakers for audio and a USB port for the touch interface.

The L2105tm is driven by optical touch technology. Unlike other technologies which only recognize a single touch point, optical touch recognizes multiple inputs. So whether you touch your fingertip to the panel to scroll through screens or use two fingers to replace your mouse as you perform common multi-touch gestures, with multi-touch technology, your inputs will be recognized quickly, accurately and without drift. You can also easily rotate position, shrink and enlarge documents or navigate media rich 3D content. Because the L2105tm is designed specifically for multi-touch, a hard stylus is included and tucks away neatly into the side of the monitor for easy storage. As well, the sleek, black, fixed height monitor stands firm without wobbling or walking to withstand touch pressure, while integrated speakers provide stunning audio for work or play.
